Installing Opalis Part IV

This is the latest part on how to install Opalis. In the previous part we have seen how to install the Licenses. Now we need to install the Opalis Client, this is the easiest steps of all.

Click Install the Client in step 4 of the Install Opalis Integration Server splash screen. The Client Setup dialog appears.

When you install the Client, you also install the Policy Testing Console. The Client enables you to build and manage Policies. The Policy Testing Console enables you to test your Policies before you deploy them.

Type your name and your organization’s name in the respective fields, then select which users on your computer have access to the application. Click Next. The Destination Folder page appears.

Click Browse to choose a different destination folder, or click Next to accept the default. The Ready to Install the Application page appears.

Click Next. The Client and the Policy Testing Console are installed. When the wizard has finished the installation, click Finish. The Install Opalis Integration Server splash screen appears.

That’s it!

Now we still need to install the Operator Console, deploy action servers and import the Integration Packs! See stay tuned for more blogsposts!

Have fun,
