Windows 8 and Hyper-V
They announced that windows 8 will have Hyper-V. I downloaded the Developer preview yesterday and installed it today. Hyper-v was one of the first this I went looking for… Just like in windows server 2008 it is a feature that you need to add.
It adds 2 tiles to your start menu:
- Hyper-V manager
- Hyper-V Virtual Machine Connection
When you start Hyper-V manager you get the same console:
When you open the Hyper-V Virtual machine connection you get:
