SCCM2012 Exchange Connector and BPOS
For a few days I have been attempting to configure my exchange connector in SCCM2012 without success. All my settings were configured correctly, but my mobile devices did not show up in my collections…. So how do you start troubleshooting, to start you use the monitoring workspace! and check the messages of the component:
In the Ribbon click Show messages and click All
In the Status Messages screen click OK
A list with all messages opens, open the error message
I got this error:
Connection to Exchange server https://red002.mail.emea.microsoftonline.com failed.
Message: The WinRM client sent a request to an HTTP server and got a response saying the requested HTTP URL was not available. This is usually returned by a HTTP server that does not support the WS-Management protocol.
I opened a feedback report on connect.microsoft.com to find out if it was a Bug and got this answer:

As I understand it, you are unable to get the Exchange Connector working with MSIT's OWA server in EMEA. We shall be working to resolve this specific issue through the course of the case. Once we resolve this issue we will consider this incident completed and closed. Please let me know if I have misunderstood or overlooked anything.
The Accounts tab has been updated in more recent builds to detail the exact rights the account needs on the Exchange server. Please see the attached screen shot for more details. A quick search for these cmdlets online turns up http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124413.aspx. I am pretty confident that you do not have Set-ADServerSettings on this server, so will need to use a different server.

So I opened an ticket with BPOS. Within 4 hours a nice MS support engineer called me and provided me with the following information:
My BPOS subscription runs on Exchange2007 which does not support RBAC. RBAC is the new permissions model in Exchange 2010. If you want more info on RBAC you can find it here.
Conclusion: You cannot use the exchange server connector in SCCM2012 with Exchange 2007.
