MDT2012 Beta 1 and SCCM 2012 Beta 2 OS Deployment Part III : Creating and Capturing the Reference PC
In Part I and Part II we have created the task sequence and the boot media to install our reference computer.. Before we start doing that there is something we need to do… You need to adapt your Customsettings.ini so it’s configured to do a capture of your machine. This means you need to add this: DoCapture=YES
Don’t forget to update your DP!!!
Mount the ISO we created in Part II in the VM dvd-drive or burn it to a DVD and boot from it on your reference machine.
Press any key to boot from DVD J
In the task wizard screen click Next
In the Select a task Sequence screen, select your task sequence and click Next

I’m not going to capture all screens but this one is important : the TS is capturing your reference computer:
When your task sequence is finished you have this screen:
The capturing of your reference pc is finnishe and a WIM image should be created on the location you specified in your capture TS:
Now that we have created out W7 image we can create our TS for the deployment to our Target computers.
